My name is Kimmie and I hail from the Southwestern USA (Arizona via Nevada). I have lived in Tokyo, Japan for the past seven years, where I am a freelance translator, writer, editor, and community organizer for human rights and social justice. I like to fondly refer to myself as being “in-between generations”: not old enough to be completely removed from today’s technology, but definitely not so young that it comes to me naturally!!
